Description

A modified Stanley 151 spokeshave. The foot of the spokeshave is reground to a lower angle (essential for paring leather); the throat is opened up to provide room for leather parings to pass through; the cap iron is reground to provide a flat face (which avoids any chattering); it has a new Vertias A2 blade; the blade is reground to a lower 20 degree angle; the blade edge is ‘horizoned’ so the edges don’t dig in; comes with a wrap-around leather sheath.
